I wasn't able to respond as the topic was closed...but you seemed pretty upset about the rule regarding our color font (among other things, but this is what I'd like to address). That particular rule is simply to make it easier to distinguish between the admins, the mods, and the regular members when they type something. For us regular members, we can choose a shade of blue we like or stick with black. Red or pink is for admin and green is for mods. It took me awhile to figure it out, but I do like knowing the "rank" of who is talking simply by color.

It is unfortunate when a newbie gets kicked for using the wrong color. I have seen that happen sometimes when they didn't know and the mods didn't realize they didn't know. Sometimes the screen is moving so fast that if we aren't paying close attention, we can easily miss things that are said...including a warning or request to change.

It seems there has been a lot of tension, frustration, and high emotional levels on the site lately. I hope the explanation above helps ease some of yours just a bit.

And, I'm also not too crazy about the automatic changes to Obama's name and some other things which I can never seem to remember until I've typed it and it is changed...a little frustrating at times. But that is just a humor thing that has been left as is. Oh well.
